Theme 2025 : Financing the International Geneva, Impact Projects : Making UN, International Organisations and NGOs legible for impact finance. Joint business opportunities.
It the spirit of this theme, the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the UN in Geneva and the Directorate of International Affairs of the Canton of Geneva will jointly open the conference, highlighting the strategic importance of a finance connected to life and capable of serving impact projects, while drawing attention to the importance and opportunities for collaboration between Impact Finance, International Geneva, and the UN system.

Friday at United Nations: Regenerative Tourism as a Driver of Transition addressing all challenges
Friday 12th December 2025 at Palais des Nations, Geneva
Resilient and Responsible Travel and Tourism for Peace and Sustainable Development
Theme 2025 : Regenerative tourism as a cross-cutting solution for projects with a high transformative impact.
Regenerative tourism is at the core of UN system and International Geneva’s priorities: it breaks down silos (ecology, economy, diplomacy, culture), while generating bankable models recognized by impact finance.
In this spirit, Portugal, through its Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva, co-develop the opening of the conference, highlighting the strategic importance of oceans in our planetary oxygen.
"With every three breaths in Geneva, two come from the Ocean, only one from the forests" - a reminder that urban climate agendas must incorporate marine resilience.

Membership and attendance to the events of the Geneva Forum
If you have chosen the EVENTS + NETWORKING membership
If you have chosen the EVENTS + NETWORKING membership you will have access to the entire event and the various networking meals throughout the week. Your first meal dinner is included inside the membership, and for all other networking dinners you will only be responsible for the costs of the dishes you select from the menu.
You will receive the menu for Monday, December 8 evening one week before in order to select your preference.
Your membership card will be provided to you at your first attendance at the Forum.
As a reminder, if you plan to attend Monday’s conference, please be aware to fill out your United Nations access badge via the link you will received for this purpose.
If you have chosen the EVENTS membership
If you have chosen the EVENTS membership you will be able to attend the conferences at the Geneva Forum.
However, if you wish to participate in the networking meals, you will need to upgrade your membership to EVENTS + NETWORKING by ordering the COMPLEMENT NETWORKING membership on the page https://www.geneva-forum.com/-Memberships-.html?lang=en

Thème 2025 : Financer la Genève Internationale, Projets à impact : rendre lisibles l’ONU, les organisations internationales et les ONG pour la finance à impact. Opportunités d’affaires conjointes.
Dans l’esprit de ce thème, la Mission Permanente de la Suisse auprès de l’ONU à Genève et la Direction des affaires internationales du Canton de Genève ouvriront conjointement la conférence, en soulignant l’importance stratégique d’une finance connectée à la vie, capable de se mettre au service des projets à impact, tout en attirant l’attention sur les opportunités de collaboration entre la finance à impact, la Genève Internationale et le système onusien.

Thème 2025 : Le tourisme régénératif comme solution transversale pour des projets à fort impact transformateur.
Le tourisme régénératif est au cœur des priorités du système onusien et de la Genève Internationale : il décloisonne les silos (écologie, économie, diplomatie, culture), tout en générant des modèles bancables reconnus par la finance à impact.
Dans cet esprit, le Portugal, via sa Mission Permanente auprès de l’ONU à Genève, co-développe l’ouverture de la conférence, en soulignant l’importance stratégique des océans dans notre oxygénation planétaire.
« Sur trois respirations à Genève, deux viennent de l’Océan, une seule des forêts » — un rappel que les agendas climatiques urbains doivent intégrer la résilience marine.
